HE COMES--THE HERO

&
He comes-the Hero !

The world vibrates ;

Grass blades thrill;

Conches blare in heaven;

Gongs sound on earth

This is the great birth !

Forts of moonless night

Shatter and fall apart .

Brimming with new hopes ,

Dawn on hiltops sings,

"Do not fear !do not fear !"

And the cosmos reverberates

"Hail the New Man!"

அவன் வருகிறான் --

நாயகன் வருகிறான் !

உலகமே அதிர்கிறது !

புல்லிதழ்கள் பூரிக்கின்றன -

சுவர்க்க சங்கங்கள் முழங்குகின்றன -

மண்ணில் மணிகள் சப்திக்கின்றன -

ஆஹா ..பெரும் ஜனனம் இதுவல்லவோ !

நிலவற்ற இரவுக் கோட்டைகள்

தகர்ந்து பொடியாகின்றன --

புது நம்பிக்கைகள் பொங்கிட

"அஞ்சேல் ! அஞ்சேல்!" என

மலைச்சிகரங்களில்

'வைகறை ' பாடுகிறது -

"வாழ்க புது மனிதன்!"என

பிரபஞ்சம் எதிரொலிக்கின்றது .
